The RM-E6 Remote Trigger is a convenient solution for ambitious photographers.
Compatible with the EOS and the Powershot series from Canon, you can carry out zoom and exposure settings via the infra-red remote trigger.
Time exposures (bulb) as well as 2-second delayed and immediate triggering are possible for EOS SLRs. Triggering is adjustable via two buttons for the EOS series. One for immediate triggering and time exposure and one for delayed triggering. The respective settings for this are also carried out on the camera.
The control elements for the Powershot series are separated from those of the EOS in a user-friendly manner. You have three buttons at your disposal to operate your Powershot, two for zooming, one for triggering. Furthermore, there is an infra-red reflector included in delivery which enables you to also trigger your camera from a position behind the camera. This IR reflector is attached to the lens with a rubber band (not included in delivery) and must be adjusted accordingly in order to reflect the infra-red signals to the infra-red receiver of the camera. The infra-red trigger corresponds to your camera without any additional accessories, a respective battery (CR2025) is included in delivery.
